Introduction to our business
Hi Everyone!
First of all, I would like to thank all my former coworkers for helping this business get started! Yes, we are a relatively new business, but definitely not new to writing and editing resumes.
A couple of things I’d like you to know in regards to privacy. Resumes have some private information, such as your name, address, and phone number. We do everything ensure this information is kept confidential. We wouldn’t dare give your information to third parties and we would never ask you for your credit card, bank account, social security number, or any other sensitive information. For more information on our privacy policy, please see our privacy statement.
Now that that’s out of the way….
Future blogs will feature tips on the application process and answer frequently asked questions. In my time working with the feds, I’ve had LOTS of people come into my office, or call on the phone, asking how to apply for federal jobs, and what jobs are available. I’ve also hosted USA Jobs tutorial sessions for the public to guide them through the application process, and recruited employees for federal jobs at career fairs. I have a lot of experience helping others with federal employment, and answering all kinds of questions. I hope to highlight these topics in future posts.
Although the majority of my experience is with the feds, I am more than happy to help with your natural resource related resume for state agencies. I have done cooperative field work with Calfire, Oregon Department of Forestry, Washington State Department of Natural Resources, Idaho Department of Lands, and Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management.
Whether you purchase our services or not, subscribing to this blog will provide you with some tools to do your resume, cover letter, and application on your own.
I hope you find our future blogs beneficial to your career planning and development.
